    I believe that avoiding refined foods is the first step for you to lose weight. They will often taste good, but highly processed foods include very little nutritional value, making you take more to have enough power to get over the day. Should you be constantly ingesting these foods, switching to grain and other complex carbohydrates will let you have more power while having less. Good blog post.
